Concrete Cancer

RCW Group has been awarded the contract to remediate all concrete Cancer issue at the Iconic Michael Tuck Stand at Glenferrie Oval.
The asset, which is owned by the City of Boroondara was originally constructed in 1937 and was designed in the classic Art Deco style.
The building was completed in 1938 for the Hawthorn Football club and was added to the Victorian Heritage register in 1992. Heritage Victoria cited its importance illustrating the status sought by Hawthorn Football club.
It is now heritage protected as one of the most significant buildings of the era. The Hawks played at the oval until 1973 and was retained as a training and administrative base until 2006.
